I price audiobooks per "arkusz wydawniczy" (a Polish publishing unit of roughly 40,000 characters — about one hour of finished, mastered audio). That single price covers everything: recording, editing and mastering — no separate studio-rental or sound-engineer fees added on top, unlike most agencies. Send me your manuscript and I'll get back with a precise quote, usually within 24 hours.
What is the typical turnaround time for a full-length book?
A standard book (around 300 pages / 8-10 hours of finished audio) usually takes 2 to 4 weeks, including recording, editing, mistake removal and final mastering.
Do you provide distinct character voices in dialogue?
Yes. I interpret dialogue so listeners can easily tell characters apart — by shifting tone, pace or placement. These are subtle, professional acting choices, not exaggerated cartoon voices.
What file formats will I receive and how are they split?
I deliver lossless WAV and compressed MP3, cleanly split and named to match the chapters of your book.
What is your revision policy?
Any mistakes on my end — mispronunciations, missed lines — are always corrected for free. Script changes made by the author after recording are quoted separately, based on the length of the pickup.
How do licensing and usage rights work?
The scope of the license — streaming distribution, sales, duration — is agreed individually for each project, depending on whether you're a publisher or a self-published author. Just tell me the intended use when requesting a quote and I'll include it in the offer.
Is post-production and mastering included in the quote?
Yes. My standard quote includes full post-production — editing out mistakes and breaths, then mastering and loudness normalization. You receive a ready-to-publish file, not just a raw recording.
Can I get a sample before committing to the full book?
Yes. I'm happy to record a short excerpt of your book — usually around one page — so you can check that my voice fits the tone of the story and its characters before you commit to the full production.
