Can an AI voice reduce the total course budget?
A synthetic voice may reduce the cost and time required to generate the first audio file. That does not necessarily reduce the cost of producing the complete course. Your team still needs to check names, acronyms, numbers, emphasis and consistency across modules, then correct and export further versions.
In e-learning, the voice guides attention and helps the learner understand which information is a warning, definition, example or action. Flat or unnatural narration can make a carefully designed course feel tiring and cheaply produced. A human narrator deliberately controls pace, pauses, emphasis and emotion instead of merely converting text into sound.
