How Much Does a Polish Voice-Over for a Commercial Cost? Pricing Guide

How much does a Polish voice-over for a radio, video or streaming ad cost?

Looking for a Polish voice-over for a commercial and wondering how much it costs? There's no flat rate per second or word I can quote upfront - the price depends on a few concrete factors. Before you send over your script, here's exactly what shapes the price, how long production takes, and how to prepare your text so the quote comes back fast and accurate.

The biggest factor is usually not the length of the recording, but usage rights - where and for how long the ad will run. The same 30-second spot is priced differently for an internal video than for a nationwide radio and internet campaign.

What determines the price of a commercial voice-over?

📡
Usage rights

Your company's social media without paid promotion, a paid online campaign, and a nationwide radio, TV/VOD or cinema placement each call for a different licence - the campaign's reach and duration set its scope and affect the price, which we'll agree on individually.

📝
Script length & complexity

The price reflects the work a strong interpretation takes: understanding the text, finding the right tone and controlling the voice. A short, polished information spot is a different challenge than a scripted dialogue scene with several characters, or a jingle that needs to line up precisely with music.

🎚️
Production scope

Just need the voice? You pay for the recording alone. Need a ready-to-air spot - with editing, music and mastering for video? I'll put together the whole package in one place, and match the price exactly to the scope you choose - no need to find a separate studio or sound engineer.

🔁
Number of versions

Before recording, we'll work out the interpretation details together - pace, tone, emphasis - so the take fits what you need from the start. The price covers 2–3 versions of the recording to choose from, and as long as the script stays the same, I'll re-record as many times as it takes.

🎬
Medium & technical requirements

Radio, online, TV and cinema spots each have different loudness and file-format requirements, and a video ad also needs the pace synced to the finished edit - that extra work is reflected in the price.

🌐
Live online recording session

If you need precise control over the recording, I offer a paid live session as an add-on - we connect remotely to my studio and you direct the take in real time, and I send you the finished files right after the session.

How long does it take to record a commercial?

A simple information spot for the internet, radio or a podcast can often be recorded and delivered the same day. More complex productions - dialogue scenes, jingles, several versions at once, or a full production with video sync - usually take a few business days. We'll agree on the exact deadline once I've seen the script.

Media house, agency or working directly with a Polish voice-over artist

As with other types of recordings, you have two options: an agency (voice bank) or direct contact with the voice-over artist. The first means an extra middleman's commission added to the price and a longer back-and-forth. Working directly cuts that markup - this applies whether you're a brand booking the recording yourself or a media house or agency briefing me straight away. I cover the differences between these two models in more detail in my guide Looking for a Voice-Over Artist.

How to prepare your script before requesting a quote

  • Send the finished script or a brief - if the text isn't ready yet, describe the product, target audience and campaign idea; I can help refine it.
  • Tell me the intended usage - unpaid internet, a paid campaign, radio, TV/VOD, cinema or internal materials. This determines the scope of the licence in the quote.
  • Give the target spot length (e.g. 15, 30 or 60 seconds) and any technical requirements from the station, platform or video edit.
  • Say whether you need the voice recording alone or a full production - with music, editing and sound effects.
  • Share your campaign deadline - if the air date is already set, I'll factor that into the recording schedule.

What exactly is included in the price?

  • ✅ studio recording with basic editing - removing mistakes and noise,
  • ✅ working out the interpretation together before recording - pace, tone, emphasis on the product,
  • ✅ 2–3 versions of the recording to choose from,
  • ✅ unlimited revisions, as long as the script stays the same.

Priced separately, as add-ons:

  • ➕ alternate endings, CTA variants and shorter cuts,
  • ➕ script changes made after recording,
  • ➕ a live online recording session.

The scope and duration of the licence are agreed individually based on usage rights - I don't add it automatically "just in case."
